Consultation

Where possible we like to meet the client to discuss the project. This gives you an opportunity to ask us questions and talk through your project needs.

The Brief

We like to receive a brief. This helps us deliver a website fit for your business needs from which we can measure our performance against your criteria for success. If you can't provide a detailed brief don't worry, we can outline a brief based on consultations with you.

Proposal

Based on the brief and the consultation we forward a proposal including an estimated cost for all the work entailed.

Research & Planning

We aim to identify fully the project areas and where necessary produce a schematic representation of the undertaking in the form of wire frame drawings and site maps.

Design

We will produce a set of concept visuals that project a vision for the website's look and feel. You will have the opportunity to feed back to us to discuss the designs. These may go through several stages of revision before the designs are finalised.

Development

When all the above have been completed we set out a development schedule towards completing the project milestones. Within the schedule are areas outlined for consultation and feedback. On larger projects there may be stage payment points were we require payment for the portion of the work completed before continuing.

Typical itinerary for completion:

• Build website on the development server
• Test website on the staging server
• Transfer website to production server
• Test and debug website on the production server
• Instruct website administrators in the use of the CMS system
• Make live the website
• Hand over the website to the client

Support

Following completion we continue to support, fix any unintended defect or imperfection of character or of structure and appearance that is brought to our attention. If your needs change we will update, extend or modify any part of your project as required.
